when a pelican bites you there’s no malice in their eyes. they aren’t upset at you. they are just hungry and want to see if you fit in their mouths. and if you don’t then it’s no problem and everything is fine. and if you do then well i guess your fate is sealed but that’s ok it’s a beautiful animal
Okay, see, I knew about the capybara gif:
But I didn’t know that they really are That Dense, All The Time. The same way sharks will bite anything that might be a seal, just in case, these birdbrains will apparently test just about anything for beak size.
Behold a short list of bad ideas:
Human foot is not food, bird.
That is clearly bigger than your entire body.
…You do know what a bear cub is, right? Right??
That is a BICYCLE SEAT.
That’s it; arrested for bird crimes.

not an original idea at all but i would like to hear what films ppl would play in the background of a house party
full list is here
has to be visually interesting but not too interesting u want to stop and watch. a cohesive plot is not vital!

hey did you know that slay the princess is out now? did you know it’s on sale with a 10% launch discount until november 2nd? do you want to spend several hours getting sternly lectured by and annoying jonathan sims?? well this is your game
i think it’s good and you should buy it but don’t listen to me look at that 91 metascore—and for us, just a couple of lil guys make a game with no gameplay other than click dialogue options! idk must be fun“An existentially horrific visual novel, with an incredibly well-written plot, a beautiful score and graphics that will enrapture all senses. One of the best narrative games of 2023.”
10/10 – Voxel Smash“There isn’t a single thing I don’t like about Slay the Princess. The presentation is beautiful, the story is fantastic and moving, the voice acting of amazing characters is done phenomenally well, and the branching paths of the story give you what feels like unlimited possibilities.”
10/10 – Try Hard Guides“Slay the Princess will stay with you for a long time, I think. It’s absurdist and dark and haunting in a way that not a lot of games are. If you have an itch for something that’s spooky but also morally confronting and you will be thinking about it for days to come, it’s impossible not to recommend this.”
A- – Player 2Anyways more seriously truly from the bottom of our hearts thank you all so much for making this launch a world-shifting experience for us! We can’t wait to share more games with you, starting with Episode 5 of Scarlet Hollow 👀
People have been so nice about our game!
I think a parallel dragon and human political drama could be interesting
Say a powerful dragoness is looking for a new mate, and dragon attacks increase as they look for treasures with which to try and catch her eye.
And well, when dragons are causing trouble there is a huge domino effect
it doesn’t matter how Active ur characters are in doing shit if the shit they’re doing isn’t motivated and meaningful, and especially if it has net zero impact on anything else. conversely, scenes where “nothing seems to be happening” can be essential for a lot of things–processing meaningful events, soaking in a vibe, showcasing a character’s private life, providing setup for later payoffs, etc. it all depends.
Documenting what is quite possibly the best exchange I have ever seen on this website.
