i think it’s good and you should buy it but don’t listen to me look at that 91 metascore—and for us, just a couple of lil guys make a game with no gameplay other than click dialogue options! idk must be fun

it doesn’t matter how Active ur characters are in doing shit if the shit they’re doing isn’t motivated and meaningful, and especially if it has net zero impact on anything else. conversely, scenes where “nothing seems to be happening” can be essential for a lot of things–processing meaningful events, soaking in a vibe, showcasing a character’s private life, providing setup for later payoffs, etc. it all depends.
